What is Fisetin powder?
Fisetin is a polymer pharmaceutical raw material and a natural flavonoid (a secondary metabolite of plants). It belongs to the same flavonol subgroup as quercetin, myricetin and kaempferol and is found in the green parts of plants and fruits. As well as in bark and hardwood, common ones include: fruits (strawberries, apples, persimmons, mangoes, kiwis, and grapes), vegetables (tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers), nuts, and grapes. The content of fisetin in strawberries is approximately that in apples. What are the functions and functions of Fisetin?
1. Antioxidant weapon and inflammation killer
In 1966, an article published in "Nature" stated that fisetin was one of the flavonoids with the strongest antibacterial effect known at the time. It only required 50 μg/ml to effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus. This has attracted scientists' attention to the pharmacological effects of fisetin. In subsequent studies of fisetin, scientists discovered that it has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

Fisetin inhibits the NF-κB pro-inflammatory signaling pathway by activating β-catenin protein and silencing the expression of TLR4, thereby down-regulating the release of inflammatory cytokines to achieve anti-inflammatory effects.

During the period of rapid tumor growth, fisetin can also reduce the formation of blood vessels by inhibiting uPA (urokinase plasminogen activator) and cut off the tumor's nutritional source. In the late stages of tumors, tumors may metastasize, and fisetin can prevent the degradation of the ECM protein barrier by inhibiting the key target of MMP-1, thereby preventing tumor cells from entering the blood and inhibiting the metastasis of tumor cells.

In terms of clinical aspects, fisetin is currently mainly used for indications such as arthritis, osteoporosis, and new coronary pneumonia.
